Turbulent Waters

George Mitchell, his wife, Vera, and their children, Sid, Henry, Julie, Little Georgie, and nephew, Johnny, arrive in New Zealand in search of a better life.Along with other early immigrants, they have high hopes, but when George is lost in a storm the family stability suffers.
Vera’s long-held hatred and jealousy is soon partnered with greed and Sid willingly takes his mother’s lead. Julie and Henry struggle without their father, and Johnny is forced to find his independence sooner than he anticipated.

Survival can be a wonderful surprise and a great incentive.
