Sunshine Road

Eastbourne, late 1960s. Ten-year-old Sarah is restless and curious, and she forms a close friendship with Becky, sharing secrets, dreams, and the hopes of youth. But when Becky moves away, and Sarah’s mother – trapped in an unhappy marriage – leaves on an extended overseas trip, fourteen-year-old Sarah is left with little supervision.
