Sanctuary

This is the story of Leo Scully, a New Zealand artist, and Kassia Pasternak, a Polish concert musician, and the many personalities they encounter on their climb to global success in their respective artistic spheres.
Their adventures begin in the aftermath of the Second World War, and Germany’s invasion of Poland, until the present day and their final return to New Zealand where they find solace and asylum on a remote Island in the Hauraki Gulf.
Sanctuary is an epic novel – it speaks directly to the human condition and an individual’s ability to perform heroic deeds in the face of adversity.
