Jane

I began writing these stories for my friends, children and grandchildren, but found it very difficult to write about a naughty girl that was myself. As soon as I renamed her Jane, for the story purposes, it was much easier! As a child I often wished that my christian name was Jane; that I was tall and slim with long straight black hair.
Now if my friends call me Jane or Anne, I answer to either. But I have not managed the hair bit!
Most of the other names are the real life ones, but not all of them.

These are all basically true stories.
