Despite having an artistic background, New Zealander Fran Gould did not begin her own artistic life until she entered retirement.
With a focus on figurative painting, Fran works mainly in oil and graphite, choosing subjects that are alive with movement and spirit; taking the artist, and the observer, on a journey that delves into the human condition.
