I have the first edition of Barbara’s book and highly recommend it, especially for those who want a special book that is not intense, but each word can soak into any weary soul deeply, as you take your time to absorb it slowly. Ideal to assist you to slow down, stop and come aside with God, and meet with Him in the stillness, Yeshua/Jesus the Prince of Peace. It helps me quiet my busy mind down and rest into His Presence. I am getting this fresh new edition to share, it’s a lovely gift to give, all bright and fresh.

  2. Debbie

I love this book. I’m not a reader, but this was delightful with beautiful pictures and explanations and encouragement. Definitely recommend for kids and adults.

  3. Colleen

A Beautiful book with great photography bringing the message that God waits to be invited into our lives so that He can do a transformation in us. We, too, go through a waiting period, waiting to be set free from a life of bondage to sin, which we can receive if we choose to believe.

  4. Leonie Graham

I love this book! It soothes my soul and refreshes my spirit both through the text and through the photos…. Reminds me to draw aside and converse quietly with the one who loves me like no-other…. Such an encouragment.

  5. Dianne McClay

Barbara’s parable, “Waiting” can be read in less than 10 minutes but it’s invitation is timeless. The reader is encouraged to slow down, pause, reflect, meditate.
The parable focuses on our universal experience of waiting on God. It is an individual experience cleverly likened and paralleled to the lifecycle of a monarch butterfly. With amazing photographic images and poignant scriptures and words the reader is drawn to get insights and revelations of their own journey.
“Waiting” has a place on my coffee table. It is a book I will go back to and ‘chew on’ again and
again….a true parable…the possibilities of what I will draw from it are endless!!

Barbara’s book ‘Waiting’ causes you to do just that … to enjoy the many beautiful images, to read, reflect & contemplate … to wait and soak in Father’s marvellous wrap-around love. A really lovely book for yourself and as a gift for a special friend.

  7. Rhonda Puddle

I love the way that Barbara interweaves scripture verses with the natural process of metamorphosis to help us understand how God transforms our lives as we surrender to Him. This vibrant, beautifully presented modern day parable brings hope and understanding to the many trials we all face.

  8. Andrew Bullians

Waiting is a must book for those in transition into their God ordained position in the Body of Christ. The simplicity and beauty with which Barbara portrays the transition is deep and reflective. Well done and I look forward the others in the Soul series.

  9. Kate Hindson

A beautiful, restful, reflective book. Like nourishment for the soul and spirit.

  10. Robyn Chrystall

I am constantly aware that God speaks to me through nature and as I abide in Him I learn more and more of who He is for me.
This parable speaks to me of the times I have wanted God to act and circumstances to change but later realised that His timing is always best.
What a lovely parable. Thank you Barbara for this beautiful reflection depicted in the life cycle of the Monarch butterfly.
I recommend this book, not only for personal enjoyment, but as a gift to others.
