I really enjoyed this book, it’s a compelling novel that explores the themes of family dynamics. The protagonist Libby Prescott is struggling to make sense of her life as she deals with a recent separation and the death of her father. It covers expat life in Hong Kong, as well as life in New Zealand and it is a wholly absorbing tale. I was surprised to hear that this is the authors first novel, I do hope she continues to write more.
