About the Author

Cushla Randle lives in Tauranga but was born and lived in Wellington most of her life. She was educated at Victoria University, Wellington and gained a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in English and history.

Cushla has researched and written three previous books about Colonial New Zealand, A Very New Zealand Family, Maria (a biography) and Fateful Choices.
