The Thrill of the Hunt

This is David’s third book – the second of interesting short stories. Some are based on his own experiences out on our vast and beautiful mountains hunting deer, and other times down on the flats searching out rabbits and geese. Even as he approaches his 80th birthday, he is full of memories of his earlier years of being out in the wide open spaces where the rivers run wild and threatening and the mountain peaks beckon – cold though they may be. Then again there’s stories of how things used to be, learning skills, farm life and survival skills.
