The Intangible Web

Millie Sanderson is a young woman who does not want to be constrained by the mores of her day, or her mother’s attempts to make her into ‘the perfect young lady’. Instead she thrives in the mentally stimulating atmosphere of her father’s law office. However, when her slimy Uncle Sid visits to say that his wife is very poorly and he needs help, and Millie leaves her home for a shack on the edge of the goldfields, her life is turned upside down. Worse, all her misgivings about Sid prove to be well-founded.
