The Girl and the Mirror

The Girl and the Mirror is an allegorical story that grew out of conversations over coffee, between a young woman and an older friend.  The woman was trapped emotionally as a girl, and needed to discover her value and worth as a unique individual. This could only come as she began to see herself as she really is, not through her own self image, flawed by her life experiences and hurts. What ensued as her journey developed, was a life transformed, as she found that she really was special, and she truly was worth loving.
