First published as Home Brewing and Winemaking for New Zealanders, Chris Reading’s book opened the door for a large number of people who had the desire but lacked the expertise to make their own wines and beers. This new edition is greatly expanded and takes into account the many new developments – especially in beermaking – that have taken place over the past few years. The wine section has also been revised and includes many new recipes, techniques and solutions to problems. There is also an extensive chapter on tasting and judging.
