We’ve become an overly successful species hugely dependent on cheap energy, and for the first time in our evolution we’ve arrived at global limits. The nature of masculine leadership underlies our history of expansionism, competition and risk-taking, but to prosper into the 22nd century humanity needs to change direction now. Can we learn moderation, cooperation and responsibility for our biosphere in time to secure a sustainable future for our grandchildren?
