The Big R

Reaching the tip of ninety-five, it is hard to believe that a third of my life has been lived in the BIG R. Who, at the age of sixty, could think or plan for those extra thirty-odd years? I certainly did not, but how quickly they did slip by.

From a puling, premature, and just over two pound infant, I have lived to see a changing world. From transport by horse, penny-farthing bicycle, Model T Ford (which I was fortunate to ride and drive) to what many of us take for granted today. One can only conjecture where space travel will take us in the future.

I only hope my readers will enjoy this book and tread the many paths of the BIG R that I still enjoy.
