Continuing from Snowgirls, Heather has the Irene righted and repaired for their accommodation. She also helps to relocate people, including a girl of her own age. This girl learns that she is the next in line for the British Crown, after three generations of the Royal Family have disappeared. She becomes Britain’s first ruler since Charles I, as opposed to a reigning only Queen. She demolishes Britains hierarchal system, avoids protocol and demands that banks become service industries only. She outlaws poverty; in doing so riles previously senior members of parliament and the church, who she believes have perpetuated such conditions for their own benefit. And she survives assassination attempts by those she has deposed.
