Mark’s Story

This book attempts to answer these questions. It takes the Gospel of Mark and the Acts of the Apostles as its main inspiration but uses other less well known sources to arrive at this compelling version of events. The time line is based on history but some notable events such as the death of the Virgin Mary have been inserted to allow the story to flow.

There is little factual history concerning the life of John Mark and the author has woven some traditional stories in with the main storyline to make a lifelike word picture of the early church in Jerusalem and the Roman world.
