Legacy

These poems are written with love and the best of intentions. I have attempted to use the traditional Korean sijo form but in English with accompanying Korean translations. They are far from perfect but that is life. It is hoped that they will give you moments of reflection, moments of joy, moments of insight and moments of fond memories.

Richard P Wisnesky, recently retired, spends his days living, going to the gym, reading and writing. In his working life he was an educator in schools through teaching and health promotion. He lives in Christchurch with his partner of twenty-three years for whom he has a great love and respect for her honesty and for her wonderful stoical wisdom about people and life.
