There are many occasions on the farm that we come together with family and friends, but the most significant of them all is the first weekend in May, “opening duck season”. This traditional weekend started when Neil and his siblings were young children growing up on the farm and continues to this day and beyond.
My love for cooking was perfectly suited to this very sociable weekend and over the years I have spent many enjoyable hours planning menus and selecting dishes to suit the occasion. Neil as well, has developed a love of cooking and has a huge following with all his delicious chutneys and plum sauce.
