This workbook lays the foundations for cell biology and the identification of living things. It also includes material on dichotomous keys, classification of plants and animals, structures and functions of plant parts, microscopes, respiration, photosynthesis, diffusion and osmosis.
It focuses on aspects of levels 3, 4 and 5 of the New Zealand Science Curriculum.
