About the Author:
Gaye Hemsley has taught dancing to children since she was fifteen. Many years later she is affectionately known to her young dance students as ‘Nana Gaye’ She has branched into other activities which include writing children’s books, story telling, holding children’s parties and events.Her life has been surrounded by children, her own dance pupils, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gaye hates to admit she is in her senior years and has replaced the word ‘retire’ with ‘reinvent’. She believes in keeping the child within you alive. She presently lives with her husband in beautiful Katikati.
