Heard at the Hangar Door

Peta has had a lifelong interest in aviation from a young age. The sound of a Rolls-Royce engine in a Spitfire or Mustang fighter was like music to her ears. Model making was a passion which never waned, even after interludes of house and caravan building, dog breeding and other interests over a period of 70 years.

This book follows on from Peta’s previous book, An Unusual Life, and goes into more detail on a subject that Peta assumed would be boring to those readers who weren’t ‘aviation nuts’.
