From City Lights To Outback Nights is the story of a Midwife stranded in Australia at the beginning of the global pandemic, with no job, no home and no way to return to her former life in London. Teresa must embrace uncertainty head on. She borrows a car and drives across Australia to the middle of the desert to commence what becomes the first of many midwifery contract positions. There are many sad, funny and thought-provoking stories of her time working with the indigenous women and the places and people she meets on her travels. She survives heat, storms, fires, floods, snakes and spiders that make Australia a most memorable place.
