Camping at Opito Bay

In the early 1960s a group of friends, all in their 20s, camped for three weeks over Christmas and New Year at Opito Bay on the Coromandel Peninsula. Now, more than 50 years later, many of the same group together with their children and grandchildren still spend their holidays at Opito.

This book retells some shared memories of a time now gone and acknowledges the love and affection for all these friends, including those who are no longer with us, Doug, Cliff, Colin and Betty, Moray and Sue, Roger, and David, son of Keith and Ruth.
