Buried Treasure

I went to Blenheim in Easter 2006 to sort out a lifetime of photos for Nana Bev. I didn’t realise that photos could multiply overnight. Nor did I think that I would give up on my task. Least of all did I think Nana would say, ‘Chris, there are some things I want to tell you.’

At the end of the next eight days my eyes were held open with toothpicks and my fingers were blistered and blue. Nana has a wonderful memory, and much to my surprise, she is the sole keeper of a secret trove of buried treasure – a secret she has only told me.

Until now that is… let the treasure hunt begin!
