Barry and the Bush

This is the story of a life lived in two countries, Australia and New Zealand.
Barry’s passion for the bush is a driving force in his life and the reason for all the adventures related here.
From his first forays in “the gully” as a child, to the hardcore trips that required super fitness, to his later years when the hard trips are out of reach, these are his reminiscences of the bush.
His family is necessarily included as they were and are a vital part of his life and were the impetus for writing Barry and the Bush.
